Everyone has a smartphone these days, and anything you or your business can do to make things easier for your customers, will make it much more likely that they will take advantage. Some examples of great uses are, your contact details to be added to their address book, maybe a link to your online store, or how about a YouTube video showing off a product or service? You are also providing a valuable and useful service for your customers. For example, when you make it push button easy for your business contact details to be instantly added to their address books, it now becomes easier for them to contact you, get directions and reminders of their appointments, visit your website, and the list goes on!

The automation you can provide will become more apparent as you start using them. There are hundreds of really amazing things you can do with these, even if it is just to make something automated for yourself at home.

With the speed of everything on the internet these days, everyone seems to want to just “Flick the switch” and get online. Well, there is much more to consider, if you are really going to be successful with your online campaigns. This information is designed not to overwhelm and confuse you, but educate and prepare you to not set yourself up for failure. Create a web-page about wiggly worms and your web pages must talk about wiggly worms.

Talk about the fact that you sell wiggly worms in places like Youtube, Facebook and Twitter.

The more other places that have links that point back to your website talking about how you sell wiggly worms the better.
your business should be listed in as many online directories as possible

“You want as many people talking about what you do and how to find you as possible”

That’s really it!

While this is greatly simplified, it really is that easy to get started. Sometimes people can get bogged down with information overload and not do anything at all, which is the worst thing you can do.

That’s what we used to call it growing up in Lake Tahoe when snowstorms would require you to stay home.

Now with all the quarantines, the whole world is experiencing this, some for the first time.

With technology and especially the internet, we now have some cool new ways to help entertain, educate and just occupy our time, and I have just a couple of suggestions to get you started.

1. Google Street View – This is a great way to see virtually anywhere in the world, and now, the Moon, Mars, and under the Ocean. Not only is this useful now but a very valuable way for you to learn to plan trips.

2. Webcams and “Virtual Tours” There are more and more webcams being installed all around the world, and you can use them to see what is going on somewhere, or just use them to do a “Virtual Tour” For example, here are a couple of great ones to check out!

Don’t forget about all the cool “Facetime” type apps and group chat tools that let you visit your family and see their mugs too! 

Earthcam is one of my favorite networks of cameras, and I doubt if you would ever run out of places to virtually visit!
